We are a computational cognitive neuroscience lab based in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge. The principal investigator is Rebecca Lawson, who is Professor of Neuroscience and Computational Psychiatry.  Rebecca is a Royal Society Wellcome Trust Henry Dale Fellow, an Autistica Future Research Leader, and a Fellow of the Lister Institute

We are interested in how people learn to make predictions about the world around them, and how this process suffers when the environment is uncertain. We believe that this is a fundamental mechanism that scaffolds all aspects of cognition. It is therefore crucial to understand its emergence in early life and also it's disruption in mental health condition such as anxiety and depression.
